My soon to be three year old is a huge superhero fan. (I can thank his daddy and uncles for that). He was saying “Captain America” before he could speak everyday words and soon his adorable zoo themed nursery was transformed into Thomas the Train turned Superhero Central.
When I first found out The Marvel Experience was on tour, I hoped it would make a stop in Chicago. The Marvel Experience is an all age interactive tour that is 100% hands on.
Although my son enjoyed Disney’s Frozen on Ice, we lost his attention after the intermission and it was hard to keep him entertained therafter. With The Marvel Experience, he will actually be a part of the experience.
From scaling buildings with Spiderman, smashing bad guys like The Hulk, or flying high like Iron Man, he’s sure to have a great time! Plus, I just found out WWE wrestler Triple H does the voice of The Hulk! (sigh) There’s even a little something for mommy!
The tour is set up in a three dimensional, 360 degree, full dome projection theater. Although no characters are live, the true to life images really feel like they are standing right next to you.
The tour does end with a thrilling motion ride that might not be suitable for all ages. However, the experience alone of becoming a superhero recruit will surely be exciting for my little guy.
