Chi-town area moms and moms-to-be now have a place to get fit this bump season! Preggers, a maternity and baby/toddler boutique on Michigan Avenue, and Fit4Mom are teaming up for the first ever mall walk exercise classes on the 5th floor of 900 N. Michigan Avenue. Taught by certified Stroller Strides instructors, the free, 60-minute classes will include power walking and intervals of body toning for moms and moms-to-be and songs and activities for babies and toddlers. Five classes will take place at 8:45 A.M on the following dates:

Friday, June 28

Wednesday, July 10

Friday, July 26

Friday, August 9

Saturday, August 24

Classes will end at Preggers with a healthy snack and nutrition tips provided by Lara Field, registered dietitian and owner/founder of FEED, who will feature a different topic each session and provide healthy recipes for both moms and babies.

Whether you are nursing, want to squeeze in a workout (baby in tow) or looking for stylish maternity, baby and toddler clothes, moms and moms-to-be can find what they’re looking for this summer at Preggers. Moms can also check out the Lactation Lounge open during store hours.

Nursing moms strolling on Michigan Avenue can stop into Preggers for a visit to the Lactation Lounge, a private and relaxing place to nurse or pump. Furnished with a plush glider from Twinkle Twinkle Little One , along with water, a nursing cover and magazines, moms and babies will feel like they’re right at home. Lactation consultants from The Lactation Partners  have put their stamp of approval on the lounge and will be providing information for moms stopping by.
