Chicago House, the first organization in the Midwest to provide housing and support for people living with HIV and AIDS, is excited to celebrate its 26th Annual Spring Brunch and Fashion Show entitled “Wonderland”. Join the charity at the Harold Washington Library on Sunday May 5th from 12-3:30PM for a three-course brunch, silent auction and fashion show featuring local designer and boutiques.
Held in the beautiful Winter Garden Ballroom at Chicago’s Harold Washington Library, this year’s “Wonderland” theme will tease at storybook characters with a fashionable twist. With over 400 expected attendees, the three-course gourmet brunch will be presented by Jewell Events Catering, while guests sip on Absolut cocktails and shop a fantastic 100-item silent auction. Ticket holders can also purchase flowers at the one-of-a-kind Flower Market, a favorite attendee pastime at this event. The market will feature a variety of over 60 fresh floral arrangements from 6 different local floral designers, all sold to benefit Chicago House.
The fashion show will headline Spring 2013 looks from AZZA, Cram, Bonobos, Lulu’s On The Avenue, Suit Supply, Ramsey Prince Designs and Ricorso.
The organization will also present its annual Spirit Award to openly gay Illinois State Representative Kelly Cassidy, in acknowledging her ongoing advocacy for women, the LGBT communities, and Chicago House.
Tickets are $200 for Garden Seating (table of 10/$2000) and $300 at the Runway (table of 10/$3000). For tickets or more information, contact Beth Connor at 773.248.5200 (ext. 303) or visit www.chicagohouse.org.
