Common Threads' Cook-Off: A Recap

Chicago’s best chefs faced off Wednesday night at Common Threads’ Third Annual Cook-Off, cooking (and competing for votes) in one of four categories: in a shell, on a dish, in a glass, or on a stick. The competition was stiff, with chefs dishing out creative — and delicious — takes on the theme. It was a rough job going from station to station, which included Piccolo Sogno Due, Roka Akor, Belly Q, Sixteen, and Cafe Des Architectes, tasting the dishes and voting for the stand outs, but somebody had to do it.
