A Dog's Life: Internet star Rooney Jordan shares his life in pictures

Hi! I’m Rooney Jordan, an 11 year-old PAWS Chicago rescue, and I’m livin’ la vida loca and want to share the fun with you! My mom started dressing me up when I was just a pup. I think it’s because her mother didn’t buy her enough dolls, but that’s a story for another day.

It all began innocently enough when mom was looking for cute ways to promote her  Sunday Chicago Tribune social column. She thought I might be the perfect pitchman (duh!) so away we went. People ask me, “do you mind dressing up?” and the short answer is hell no as long as there’s chicken at the end of my rainbow.

My couture wardrobe comes from many different designers such as Dogmani, Doggie & Gabbana, Dogsley Mischka, Dogmain, Dogga Karan, Dogatella Versace and so many others. They all send me designs for approval and so far, so good. I’ve been quite pleased.

Recently, I was asked to co-host WCIU’s “You & Me” with my mom and regular co-host Melissa Forman (Jeanne Sparrow had the day off). I was so relaxed, I fell asleep several times during the 2 1/2 hour live show but that didn’t stop the dozens of agents from calling in to book me.  To see clips, click here, here and here.  I walked in a dog, but came out a STAR!

To keep up with my adorable antics, follow my mom on her Facebook pages (Candace Jordan and Candid Candace), LinkedIn (Candace Jordan), Twitter (Candid Candace) and Instagram (Candid Candace). #RooneyRules

Oh, and sometimes, my older brother Mickey participates when he’s not chasing squirrels.  SQUIRREL?! Who said SQUIRREL?!?!!!

Woof! Woof! (Thank you in Rooney-Speak)
