VIPs appearing onstage included Palms owner, George Maloof, 2009 Playmate of the Year, Ida Ljungqvist, Hef, 2008 PMOY Jayde Nicole (Brody Jenner’s ex), 2006 PMOY Kara Monaco, the Playmate Dancers and the Chicago pop-rock group, The White Tie Affair. The frontman, Chris Wallace, whipped all of us into a frenzy with a song they performed on MTV’s “The Hills”, “Candle (Sick and Tired)”. The Palms provided pyrotechnics during this song which made me a little nervous. Yikes!
Three time Grammy winner Robin Thicke, Alan’s son, performed “Lost Without You” and dedicated it to Hope, who was draped langorously atop his piano.
Red Carpet VIPs included Hef’s ex, Holly Madison, who is appearing in “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Hef and his current girlfriend Crystal Harris, Iron Chef winner Kerry Simon, Playboy’s Editorial Director Jimmy Jellinek and lots of glam Playmates such as Deanna Brooks, Hiromi Oshima, Summer Altice, Sandra Greenberg, Nancy Harwood, Peggy McIntaggart, Crystal McCahill, Barbara Moore, Janet Quist, DeDe Lind, Toni Ann Thomas and Reagan Wilson to name a few.
