Chicago Magazine has chosen five “Men to Watch” for an upcoming feature and recently there was a party at the David Yurman Boutique (40 E. Oak St.) to celebrate. Greg Hyder, Emmanuel Nony, Rick Gresh, Tom Kehoe and Luca Lanzetta are the lucky guys. The only one missing was Tom Kehoe of Kehoe Designs. Tom had a great excuse–he and his team were busy decorating the WHITE HOUSE for Halloween! How cool is that? Tom has always been the go-to guy for event décor and design but I’m not sure he can top this success! Emmanuel Nony is the owner of the hot River West restaurant, Sepia. Born in Lille, France, he is also a man of style. Rick Gresh, another restaurateur, is the Executive Chef at David Burke’s Prime House. He was named a “Rising Star of American Cuisine” by the James Beard Foundation and is another deserving honoree. Greg Hyder, Director of Catering for the Peninsula Hotel, is quite the man around town.
He is on many best dressed lists and his charitable endeavors are legendary. Recently, he was named the 2010 Man of Vision for the Gift of Sight Gala on May 21st. And last but certainly not least, we have Luca Lanzetta. He’s a dashing man with an obvious flair for business having two showrooms in the Mart–Ernestomeda (specializing in modern, unique kitchen design) and Antoniolupi (specializing in modern European bathrooms). He was born in Rome and is an engineer by trade with international business holdings. Congrats to all and look for this upcoming issue of Chicago Magazine to see more of these “Men to Watch.”
Seen mingling at the party were Rich Gamble, publisher of Chicago Magazine, Stacey Jones (Fashion Editor of Chicago Magazine), Amanda Puck, Pierre Desy, Cindy Burns, Laura Wallace, (Yurman’s manager), Martha and Tom Wallace, Elyce Rembos, Jean Antoniou, Kerry Bowler, Karen Maisa, Michael Mason, Nicole Serr, Patrick Hatton, Annick Biat, Siri Jentvanomma, Susan Ellefson, Toni Canada, Jen and Mark Joon, Charlie Kam, Charlene Gorzela, Brenda Sexton, Michael Mueller and Margaret O’Connor among others.
