About Bonnie's Eye on Entertainment

My name is Bonnie DeShong and I have been on Chicago Radio since 1985 when I began my career reporting traffic reports in the Tom Joyner Afternoon Drive show on WGCI FM.  I joined the Doug Banks Morning Show "Banks and Company" and began my entertainent reports which I titled "Bonnie's Eye on Entertainment".  I have interviewed entertainers from Bob Hope to Janet Jackson.

I have a degree in Theater so it was only natural that I would incorporate theater reviews into my entertainment report. I carried my reports to V-103 and now to Chicagonow.com.

Since the late 90's I have been a member of the Chicago Film Critics Association.  Yes, I sit in dark theaters watching movies, deciding whether I think you should spend your $9 to see a film in the theaters or wait for the DVD.

Bonnie's Eye on Entertainment will give you my opinion on movies, theatre, and music along with interviews with actors, musicians, and authors.  EYE look forward to interacting with all of you.  The real critics!
