520 W. Wellington: Open House of the Week

The third-story east side of this three flat was refinished within the last five years and is currently listed at $475,000.The unit has been lowered from $525,000 since the unit has been on the market since June. Its large, well-finishe kitchen and long hallway make a luxurious space complete with a rooftop deck.

With two bedrooms and two baths cenered between a living room and kitchen the unit doesn't have spectacular views, but the quality finishes, like hardwood floors, surround sound for the whole apartmet that can be controlled  per room and top-line appliances, make up for it. You'll get plenty of sunlight in the front and back windows, while the bedrooms are tuckedin next to another building about 10 feet away.

The wine fridge, clear-front refrigerator, stainless stell dishwasher and microwave and top-of-the-line range compliment the granite countertops. A sizeable dining area could make for great dinner paritese and the portch off the back of the kitchen is great for al fresco dining.

The bedrooms are not huge, but big enough to house king size beds and dressers. The living room currently has an office built in which looks very efficient, although it does eat up a litte more space than some may like.

Overall, I'm impressed with the unit for being in a smaller, older building. The unique finishes will really strike someone who has the right kind of money to make a buy on this unit.
