Dead Simpsons Characters: Mona Simpson

Mona Simpson is Homer's birth mother whose first extended appearance didn't come until the seventh season.

She appeared a few other times, always abandoning Homer, until the 19th season when she returns and asks for forgiveness.

Homer initially refuses to forgive her but then goes to find her, only to learn she had died.
