I am a proud father, financial strategist, TV commentator and financial talk show host of Money Smart Radio

Often times, I get weird stare downs when I share this thought with attendees of our financial workshops.  People are brought up to believe that all debt is bad.  Not necessarily.  There is good debt vs. bad debt.  Mortgages, viewed upon and used properly, can actually be good debt. I will share in one of our more popular videos why it should be looked upon as a wealth-building tool instead.

As you see, this video was created almost two years ago and yet, still has financial principles that has withstood the test of this recession.  Many of our happy students who have implemented these financial strategies have been able to withstand the perfect financial storm that is around us.

Have you signed up on our website to attend free online workshops and teleseminars?  You can be included on the next one so be sure to head over to our site and also check out our radio show podcast archives - Money Smart Radio.

Tune in also on Saturday mornings as I talk about similiar wealth-building strategies on the Real Estate on Radio Show, WLS 890 AM from 10am-Noon with Ron Vergara and THE John Davis.

In fact, what we share in this video will help you not only when times are good...but when times are especially bad.  Check out how this laid-off worker used these strategies and had financial peace of mind in the midst of a crisis.

How have you been taught to believe a mortgage should be handled?  Paid off sooner, than later?
