Sunday Newspaper Ads and Coupons: Free Eos Lip Balm, Free Schick Razors, Cheap Apple Juice

Lots of freebies in the Sunday paper today! Free Nivea lip balm, free Schick Hydro razors, free Renu contact solution, all kinds of free after Office Depot Rewards stuff, free utility blades, shelf linter and book light at Menards. Scroll down for the deets.

I'm in Milwaukee today, and the Journal Sentinel (home of my first journalism internship) I picked up had only SmartSource and a General Mills insert. But the SS is a nice fat one, with $1/1 GE light bulb which usually results in free bulbs, $1/1 Energizer batteries, $1/1 Tom's of Maine toothpaste and deodorant, $1/1 Frigo string cheese, $1/1 Bush's beans (these usually go on sale for about $1.67) a Walgreen's store coupon for $.50/1 Kleenex 4-pack as well as a $.50/1 manufacturer's coupon for same, and two $4/1 Schick Hydro coupons which make them free at either CVS or Walgreens this week.

There should also be a RedPlum in your Tribune; the JS does not get RP for some reason.

Both Wag's and CVS have some freebies this week (in addition to the today-only Hallween freebie at CVS):

Walgreens

Free Eos lip balm after $3 Register Rewards. This is the lip balm shaped like a bandll. I got a free sample at BlogHer, then sent away for another free sample, in the mint flavor, and it was among the best lip balms I ever used. I GOTS to get over to Wag's this week and get me some more free Eos.

Free Nivea lip balm: it's on sale for $1, and the ad points out that there is a $1/1 coupon in today's 10/3 RedPlum! (To those who insist that getting things free with coupons is an abuse, notice that the Wag's ad tells you that you can get $1 off a $1 produce using a coupon.)

Free Shick Hydro -- you buy it for $7.99, use the $4/1 coupon from today's 10/3 SmartSource, you pay $3.99 and get $3.99 Register Rewards back.

Puffs 6-packs are $1.59 -- use the $1/1 from the 9/29 P&G insert to get them for 59 cents.

HP DeskJet printer D1660 $24.99, get $10 Register Rewards good toward your next HP ink purchase -- i.e. not a normal RR that is good on anything

CVS

Free Schick Hydro razor -- you pay $8.97, use the $4/1 coupon from today's 10/3 SmartSource, pay $4.97 and get $5 ExtraBucks back.

Free Renu -- pay $7.99, get $7.99 ECBs

Target has two good gift card offers that we have loved and lost before:

1) Buy 5 Mott's apple juice (64 oz) or 6-pack apple sauce @ $1.75, get a $5 GC. I don't see any Mott's coupons out, but still, juice or apple sauce for 75 cents a pack is a good thing.

2) Buy five Breyers/Popsicle/Klondike/Ben & Jerry's frozen treats @ $2.75, get a $5 GC. Use $1/2 Breyer's Q from the Dominick's "save $70" booklet, or $1/2 B&J pints from the 9/19 RedPlum. You should be able to use two of either of those coupons, so your cost for five "treats" would be $6.75 after GC and coupons.

Office Depot has a whole list of items that are free after 100% in Rewards: letter & legal storage totes @ $9.99, 5-pack paper banker's boxes @ $9.99, 1 ream paper @ $6.99, 3M address labels @ $23.99, Samsonite laptop case @ $54.99, 3-pack legal pads @ $4.99, 3-ring binders @ $6.99, Energizer AA or AAA batteries @ $7.49, PaperPro compact stapler @ $9.99, Keurig coffee K-cups @ $9.99.

Menards has a nice batch of free and cheap mail-in rebate items ($10 purchase required):  22" poly leaf rake $1.89 after $2 MIR, silicon sealant 49 cents after $3 MIR, utility blades with dispenser 50-pack free after $5 MIR,, non-slip shelf liner free after $1.50 MIR, Flexible LED book light free after $3 MIR, 14 LED flashlight 19 cents after $6 MIR, duct tape 49 cents after $2 MIR.

Michael's has the usual 40% off one full-price item coupon, as well as a coupon for 25% off your entire purchase of wall and tabletop frames, framed art and display cases.
