Sunday Ad Flyers 1/3: Free Electrasol, Free GE Energy Smart Bulbs

I summed up the five awesome coupon inserts in the 1/3 Sunday paper already, but let's look at the other sales and deals advertised in the papers this week:

CVS has one-packs of GE Energy Smart bulbs for 99 cents after Extra Bucks, which means they're free after the $1/1 coupon in the 1/3 SmartSource (there was also one in the 11/22 SmartSource, and there's a $1/1 printable too). Also at CVS: "spend $10, get $5 Extra Bucks" offer for Nivea products, which could probably result in free lotion or lip balm after coupons from this week's inserts.

Walgreens has the free-after-coupon-and-Register-Rewards Electrasol deal I already told you about. Also, Reynold's aluminum foil is only 89 cents with in-ad coupon. There is a $1/1 printable coupon for the recycled variety that would make it free if it is accepted. See the rest of the Wag's deals -- including free eye shadow -- on Mommy Snacks. Also, see her summary of the January Wag's monthly deals.

Target has, honestly, nothing that got me excited this week. I guess the premium (Swaddlers Sensitive, Cruisers Premium Absorbancy) Pampers Value Box (? - 72-96-ct.) for $29.99, which can be paired with the $2/1 manufacturer's coupon from the 12/27 P&G insert and the $2/1 Target coupon from the 12/6 RedPlum or mailer.

Jewel-Osco has a Sunday/Monday only sale with Jewel brand cheese 8 oz. for $1.27 and Doritos for $1.88 per 11.75-14.5 oz. bag. Through Wednesday, Hostess multipacks are on sale buy one, get one free @ $3.99, and you can sign up here for a $.40/1 coupon. Wild Harvest organic lemonade is bogo @ $3.99. There's a manufacturer's coupon for $1/1 Colgate which always comes in handy at CVS.

Dominick's has good Super Coupons for the first time in awhile. As usual, $20 purchase required: a gallon of Lucerne milk for 99 cents (limit 1), 18 Lucerne eggs for 98 cents (limit 1), a pound of Smithfield bacon for $1.99 (limit 4) and Nature Valley Granola Bars 4/$6 (use four $.40/1 printable coupons to get it down to $5.40 or $1.10 each; check out Mashup Mom for more printables and Catalina info that will get this down to $1.10 a box.). Safeway WAterfront Bistro shrimp is $7.98 for a 2-pound bag with Super Coupon, and print the $1/1 coupon from the Web site to get it for $6.98.

Menards is advertising the 15% off everything you can put in a reusable bag sale, which I shopped today. It runs through Jan. 10.

Michaels has the usual 40% off one item coupon.

Staples is offering Avery heavy-duty view binders free after Staples Rewards

JiffyLube has a coupon for $10 off an oil change or a free $25 Restaurant.com gift card (the $10 off is more valuable since you can get $25 Restaurant.com certificates for around $2 off with coupon codes toward the end of nearly every month)

OfficeMax has a paper bag that you can fill with stuff and get it all for 25% off.

Frugalista, I think I remember you writing about your kiddos liking Soy Joy. Did you know that there are bonus days at CVS right now, bonus packs of 6 Soy Joy bars are $6 with $6 CVS Bucks (limit 6 packs).

I found this deal at http://www.chachingonashoestring.com/2009/12/31/cvs-bonus-days-1310-21410/

Have a great new year!
Thanks for your hard work!
