KFC Free Chicken: My Experience

We went through the drive-in at the KFC at Madison and Ridgeland in Oak Park to try out the free piece of chicken deal. There was no line. I wasn't sure if I could get the free chicken at the drive-through, but when I asked about it, they just asked how many people in my car.

I told them 4, and they told me to pull up to the window. I barely got the chance to tell them I wanted biscuits too -- they certainly weren't trying to upsell me so I would have felt perfectly comfortable going through for the free chicken only.

When they handed over our bag they did not comment or care about the fact that the four people in the car were one adult, two kids and an infant. The free pieces of chicken were two very small wings, a leg and a breast.

So if you happen to pass a KFC this evening, I'd say stop right in for that free chicken. It was no trouble, although if you get the wing that would be pretty much a drag.
