Kmart Super Doubles Possible Moneymaker

I'm hiding in the spare bedroom from a Sunday morning s-storm (I slept in until 8:30, husband didn't feed the kids cause he thought we were going out to breakfast, breakfast out cancelled due to lateness of hour and bad behavior = 5-year-old being shut in her room to complete her epic tantrum with at least a door to muffle the sound.) Believe me readers, I'm much happier having my cup of coffee with you. Well Toth is in here too, but at 11 weeks he is very well behaved.

I was excited to check out my Kmart flyer this morning to see what Super Doubles might get me. Double coupons are not mentioned in the flyer but my local store director told me they are indeed happening this week. I would recommend you check with your local store before showing up.

Here's a moneymaker or freebie I noticed right off the bat: "Buy 5 Special K products, get $5 off instantly." (Limit one $5 savings per transaction.) Special K cereal is on sale for $2.50, so if you buy five with five prints of this $1/1 coupon, you should get them for 50 cents a box. Pay $2.50, get $5 off. What I don't know is if the register will take $5 off your order even if you only paid $2.50. But if you're like me with only two computers to print coupons with, you'll have four coupons, a total of $4.50 before instant savings, and then a 50-cent profit or at least five boxes of free cereal.

Also, Hershey's Kisses are $2.50 for a 11-14 oz. bag, so the $1/1 from the 9/13 SmartSource would make them just 50 cents. That'd be a start toward Halloween.

You can find more matchups from the experts at For the Mommas. More Than Cents also has info on a Johnson's Catalina deal going on now.

Oh, and here's a printable $5/$50 coupon to sweeten things a bit more. (It won't double but it does apply to the pre-coupon total.)
