Mad As Hell Doctors

This weekend on "Family Values with an Oy Vey," we got a call from Mad As Hell Paul, a doctor from Mad As Hell Doctors. As the health care debate derails into name calling and racism, phony anger, the Mad As Hell Doctors are taking real anger on the road.

rubber_glove_meets_the_road.jpg
They're mad about the exclusion of Single Payer; they're mad about doctors who mine disease for wealth.

They're mad about not being able to do their jobs; they actually want to take care of people.

Suckers!

This Friday, at Joey's Brickhouse, we're hosting an event with the Mad As Hell Doctors. Drop by if you want to throw around questions. Drop by if you want to throw around issues. Drop by if you want to throw around food. No AK-47's.

MAD-AS-HELL-DOCTORS.jpg
Yes you can meet Mad As Hell Paul. Yes you can meet Brutally Frank. Speaking of which, this weekend, on "Family Values with an Oy Vey," my dad, my hero, Brutally Frank, did a rant to end all rants.

Here it is.

pensive_obama.jpg

President Barack Obama has been in office for 8 months. His popularity ratings have dropped from 70 to 50%. Is this good or bad? Let's look at the issues. Let's look at how he's handled the issues.

On the left, we have Gay Marriage and The Employee "Not So" Free Choice Act. He pushed those suckers aside, saving them for a rainy day. The left is not happy.

nope_hope.jpg

He passed a Stimulus Bill with lots of pork, enough pork to stuff a pig with himself. The right is happy because they have something to talk about, even though they know the 44th president, the Negro-In-Chief, is trying to clean up the mess left by the 43rd president, the Cracker-In-Chief.

Finally, Barack took on HEALTH CARE REFORM, which everybody wanted during the campaign. But now...not so much. (Sound familiar, Bill & Hillary?)

obama-care.jpg

The right is screaming, "He's spending like a welfare mom at a Cadillac dealership; too much too fast too black; we gotta stop this non-citizen, this liar, this boy." The right is doing their thing with a dash of racism. They're at the top of their game.

The left is sulking, brooding over forgotten issues, doing their thing: 2nd-guessing if they're man enough, 2nd-guessing if they're woman enough, 2nd-guessing if they're up to the job of backing the change they used to believe in.

They're not. That's cowardice you can believe in. YES WE CAN'T.

I believe President Obama has moved to the middle. I believe President Obama will make the all important middle happy. This will guarantee him a 2nd term, just like Bill Clinton. And, in all probability, a failed presidency, just like Bill Clinton.

grope.gif

Is there a chance Barack can alter his path? Is there a chance Barack can alter our path? Is there a chance Barack can deliver change?

NO.

Barack is becoming Smooth. He's right where Bill was in his young presidency, back when he chose power over purpose and became Slick. It worked. That is to say it worked for him. But not us.

Slick got a 2nd term. We got 16 years of business as usual and a stained dress instead of health care reform. What's the purpose? What's the point of having power?

hope.jpg

Health Care Reform is the point. If we get true reform, if we get The Public Option, if we get Single Payer, Barack's presidency will be defining. He could become the 4th superstar I've seen in my lifetime: Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, and President Barack Hussein Obama.

THINGS AREN'T LOOKING GOOD FOR WHITE SUPREMACY.

To be Brutal, to be Frank, if I was President, when they put the final Health Care Reform Bill on my desk, and it did NOT contain true reform, I would add 2 amendments: the 1st would give all illegals free health care, the 2nd would fund abortions and incentivize women who choose abortion over birth. I'd call these amendments The Wilson Amendments.

Back to you, Greg.

Fantastic rant Mr. Frank. Barack Hussein Obama made promise after promise on the campaign trail. He promised that he would accomplish so much within the first year. You are right, Mr. Frank, he truned slick, moved to the comfortable middle, and delivered nothing. Well, he did help Dubyua with the largest payoff to the banking cartel in histor; now that's something. (This was the single biggest transfer of wealth EVER).

The following link addresses 500 of BHO's campaign promises and the status of each:

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/browse/

Page after page of promises. The change we need will only come with a true revolution by force. Just electing a pretty white, black, hispanic, or even a mutt like BHO, won't get 'er done. Like BHO, they will all melt into the fold.

Lastly, Mr. Frank, the President cannot just add amendments. I understand that Dubya's hand written additions to bills were his attempt at same, but in a true legal setting, which no longer exists, they were doodles.

It is truly time for a revolution. But that requires energy and action. So, let's just wait for someone else to do it.

Revolution is exhausting. Why can't we all just blog about it? President Obama hasn't been in office 300 days. To his credit, he's been working so hard it feels like forever ago George W. Bush was vacation at the white house.

All politicians have to be pretty, in the age of TV. Pretty people don't tend to be angry enough to lead a true revolution. Besides Che, who was pretty and had great hair.

http://www.historyofcuba.com/images/che3.gif

The Wilson Amendments are less cruel than Dred Scott v. Sandford and Bush v. Gore. To be Brutal, to be Frank, the truth is usually harder to believe than a cruel joke.

Brutally Frank was brutal and frank.

Babs said:

Vince, Vince, slow down! How about you give him at least 2 years before you call for revolution by force! You sound alitle like a left wing nut, which I don't think you really are, just s disappointed lefty. For now, write your congressman, senator, newspaper (if it still exists), and blogs. Try everything before force! It is time for the SILENT MAJORITY to get on their high horse and ride!

Hey Vince, thanks for your support. My amendments were meant to trash the bill. If President Obama doesn't get real reform, he should call it a day, trash the bill, and send a message that we on the left are looking for. His message should be "I'm in charge, we won the election, and single payer is where we're going!" To be Brutal, To Be Frank, I don't know is he's man enough!

Greg Morelli said:

Babs, we can't afford two years. We are sinking. In two years, we will all be sleeping with the fishes. Frank, he's not the man. But he plays one on tv. Greg, being left of lesbian has raised your estrogen levels way too much. Man up.

Obama must be held to his word, NOW! Not later. The later it gets, the movie will be over. Too late to butter the popcorn folks.

A New World Order is underway and I think Obama is all aboard. The only change he ever really wanted was the change of him being part of the IN crowd. He got it, but we are still out HERE, watching it crumble.

Just wait until the COMMERCIAL MORTGAGE MARKET fails. This is coming. Look into it. Obama knows about it. Do you?

Single Payer or BUST!

vinvegas said:

user-pic

C'mon now. Single payer? Obama isn't even asking for that. He has no resolve and even less conviction. He's for what's popular. And by popular, I mean popular to those around him. Popular around him will lead us to a bandaid bill that, in the end, actuall hikes up health insurance premiums by 45% (a back door deal to reimburse the insurance companies for all the ads they had to run to stop the socialist/communist movement). Think McCain/Feingold but worse.

Conviction is for Frat Boys. Resolve is for bloggers. The President, he gets 4 years.

vinvegas said:

user-pic

Sorry, but the honeymoon is over. The fight is on. They are not playing. The President does not have 4 years. Failure to make real change with alacrity will surely result in the President's greatest accomplish being his race. That is not enough for me.

Maybe I'm just a fool that got swept away in the "yes we can" movement. It felt too good. I should have known better.

Greg Morelli said:

Only fools read Food Fight. So yes, you're a fool. But I'm a bigger fool because I have no idea what "alacrity"means:

Turns out, it's a fancy-pants way of saying "Get Your Butt In Gear, Mister President."

I give in. Say good bye. For 9 years now, I have way to emotionally involved in politics. Babs is right. Greg is right; aliens abducted me. I am hereby giving up politics. I have become the guy who is so into sports that when you see him, all he can talk about is the game, the stats, the players. And somehow, all conversations come right back to sports. Politics has been my sport for too long. I am surrendering and walking away. Thanks for the advice Babs.

I am hereby turning to the one true thing that can get me through the change (change I can believe in)...porn.

Greg Morelli said:

Speaking of porn, did you see Tom Delay on "Dancing with the Stars." This guy's a world class crook, a top shelf bigot, and he's being celebrated for shaking his fanny on TV.

vinvegas said:

user-pic

Thanks for the tip. Now that I wont be watching the news, or reading on line papers, or blogging, or writing my congress reps, or hosting fund raisers for candidates, or meeting with former presidents, I will have a terrific amount of time on my hands. and porn can only fill my hands so much. I guess I will also start to "check a look" at televison programing. (by the way, "check a look" is a new phrase I created and I am trying to get it out there, so pass it on in conversations). Any onther suggestions Morellilama?

Greg Morelli said:

Vince," New World Order"...You sound like a conspiracy theorist..Well here is an admission from one key players David Rockefeller (i think all criminals at some level want to brag about their crimes.)

We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the work is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a WORLD GOVERNMENT. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries." David Rockefeller, founder of the Trilateral Commission, in an address to a meeting of The Trilateral Commission, in June, 1991.

There you have it Intellectual Elite and World Bankers rule, over Nation States..Maybe he is right but thats what is happening and it is coming to a head right now because more people like Vince are waking up to it..

and Barack Hussein Obama is there salesman in chief.

But let me digress...If only Greg could wake to this because he led a bloodless revolution..He led a Motley crew of "time travelers", who were having their rights taken away by the elitist "brief case boys"..Greg was neither but he knew something was not right.Patrick Henry had his Give me Liberty or Give me Death Speech..Greg had his "whats wrong with smoking a little Grass" speech.. Adam Langdon got up and atttaked greg and was exposed for what he was..All was well in Pi Lambda Phi..A bloodless revolution...Greg should have a plaque on the wall because like Patrick Henry, Greg is a founder father of PI Lam Gainesville.. And Yes youporn is the best thing on the web..not checked out Red Tube yet

But let me digress..

Greg Morelli said:

After 43 consecutive, mostly irrelevant white salesmen, I must confess, President Barack Hussein Obama is a welcome commander-in-pitch.

I get the feeling Rockerfeller made the speech you quoted verbatim to discredit the newspapers, more than expose them. It's too obvious: thankfulness isn't part of the Rockerfeller DNA.

As for my Liberty or Death Days back when I was a Frat Boy at the University of Florida, I must confess, it was terrifying.

The revolution was bloodless, but it took a toll. World Bankers & Elite Intellectuals are waaaay less intimidating than Self-Righteous Frat Boys.

Enjoy RedTube. Tug one out for me!

Steve, good to hear your thoughts. The New World Order is just about complete. The last pennies from the poor are quickly being taken away. One World bank. One world army.

Dubya left a huge mess. And it seemed just like another mess made by whites and sure, call a black man in to clean it up. But the mess was by design. Not designed to be cleaned.

Greg Morelli said:

I DO believe the right tried to bankrupt the country to end The New Deal and sabotage sweetening The New Deal with Single Payer. I DO believe leaders and generals and bankers are in cahoots. I Do believe President Obama is now part of the status quo he pretends to be fighting against.

I do NOT believe The New Deal can be unraveled, it's eternal. I do NOT believe Al Gore, Wesely Clark and Dr. Akhtar Hameed Khan are in cahoots, it's unfortunate. I do NOT believe the guy who wrote "Dreams of My Father" and "The Audacity of Hope" is sitting in the oval office by accident, it's written.

Certainly, the huge mess left by Dubya was by design: Unintelligent Design.

They came a hair away from ending Social Secirity. They wanted to turn it over to the stock market. It would be all gone today. Say good bye to all pensions and 401k accounts. By the way, 401k's were created in the 80's by smart bankers. Before that, average people just saved for retirement and never dabbled in the stock market. Now, no one saves. Everything is on credit and retirement means death. Before long, the New Deal will be erased from the history books.

Greg Morelli said:

user-pic

Before long, History Books will be erased by the Internet. Things evolve. Things get better. Look what Germany became out of the rubble of WWII.

The New Deal is the subtext of hope. For the moment, we have a president who's guided by the better angels of his mother. I hope...

By the way, retirement does mean death. Chemo Therapy didn't save my Grandpa Bernie from cancer...going to the office did.

vinvegas said:

user-pic

Yes, out of Germany and Japan, out the rubble, came strong, thriving countries. The good 'ol USA came in and rebuilt those countries. We wrote their constitutions. We planted their seeds for growth.

Yes, but...in the New World Order, we don't have the seed and fertilzer. We don't produce anything. Our ecomony is based on a hoax and loans. In the New World, the cheapest labor get the jobs, where ever that might be. Once we are completely broken, and we are at our knees, a job for $5 a day will seem like a gift. We won't care who resotres order. We will be happy just to see some soldier, any soldier, stopping the chaos. The New World Government will take hold. One world currency. One World Bank.

I made fun of Kucinich because he was a joke. A sad joke. He never really leaned in and took the moment seriously. I also made fun of him out of jealousy: his wife is HOT.

The New World Order sounds like a big, scary monster. G-20 sounds like a hip hop group that got voted off Amateur Night at the Apollo. Wish they scared me.
