Recession goes to church

The past year's unholy economic crunch is sparing nobody. Even the city's houses of worship are being clipped. Offering plates are coming back lighter and some members are losing their religion as job cuts and plunging home values take their toll.

It's another slice of life in the worst recession in decades. Crain's Senior Reporter Monee Fields-White has the story.
