It was Trick or Treat Night at the Metro Centre on Wednesday night and the Texas Stars went home with the WIN in their candy bag. The IceHogs lost to the Stars in a Shoot Out after nine rounds, 4-3. Even though the game contained no fights nor scrums, it certainly did not lack for action. Referee Ian Croft appeared to let the teams just play the game, calling a total of seven infractions for the entire night.
After the game the IceHogs players sat at tables set up on the ice and children were able to go around the tables to each player Trick or Treating. The kids were treated to a large assortment of items donated by area corporate sponsors. The players appeared to really enjoy interacting with the kids as they passed out the treats.
