Abbotsford Heat Coach Jim Playfair fined for temper tantrum

Jimmy Playfair, Head Coach of the Abbotsford Heat, earned a fine for a tantrum started by a call by Referee Jamie Koharski Saturday night. Playfair expressed his feelings after a call by Referee Koharski by breaking sticks and throwing his jacket .  These actions have earned him a fine, not a suspension as had been reported earlier this morning by News 1130 Radio. Dave Sheldon Director of Communication for  the Abbotsford Heat told ChicagoNow "Jim Playfair was fined an unspecified amount, he will be available to be behind the bench tonight."
