ChicagoNow Radio: July 3

Amy Guth

Amy Guth is digital news editor for the Tribune's books section and blog and is co-host of ChicagoNow Radio on News 720 WGN alongside Alex Quigley. Also? Author, adventuress and grade-a sass-mouth.

This week's line-up on ChicagoNow Radio on WGN with Alex Quigley and Amy Guth from 9 a.m. to noon 11:30 a.m. (early ending this week, so we can clear out in time for the Cubs coverage):

9 a.m.
It's all things free-agency, LeBron and Bulls when Doug Thonus of Bulls Confidential joins us in the first segment.

9:30 a.m.
The Alec Baldwin of ChicagoNow Radio, six-time guest, Joe the Cop of Arresting Tales joins us in the second segment to talk legal gun and illegal fireworks (specifically, how not to blow yourself up while blowing stuff up on the 4th of July).

10 a.m.
Then we'll be joined by Jim Laski of Jim Laski's Open Bar so we can dish some dirt on the Blago trial.

10:30 a.m.
American Princess Emily Zanotti joins us after that to talk about all kinds of stuff like Patti Blago, Rahm Emanuel and other good political dish.

11 a.m.
For our final segment (remember, we're off a half-hour early this week) we'll be joined by The Relationship Diva and we are going to get into it about bad dates.

Find the latest on our spiffy Facebook page, too, and by following me (@AmyGuth) and Alex Quigley (@AlexQuigley) on Twitter. And as always, reach us during the show with questions and comments at 312-591-7200.
