ChicagoNow radio rocked my Saturday morning gardening again!! JenJen's quickie review from someone who has too much idle time at work. OK, first I'll get the whiny stuff out of the way. Heard way too much about Alex's PJs that nobody could see. Marcus' segment was very good except the prolonged Mel Gibson part was weird especially the callers ("Excellent call, Sandra", "Tumor justification" ...are you people kidding me?). But Marcus sounds GOOD on the radio. Conversely, I was looking forward to the Single Ladies segment with Jessica, but it didn't work because of all the nervous laughter and awkward dead air times. I like Jessica's blog but for whatever reason she's not the best on the air. The whole "Mr. Google" part was set up to be interesting but never quite delivered on the setup. The golf segment with Scott was great especially the discussion about Tiger and Barkley. Maybe there wasn't enough time but I would have liked to have heard more insight about the eventual British Open winner Oosthuizen who I never had heard of until he won. I also think Amy and Scott "talk golf" well and it would be good to hear more smart talk instead of getting an explanation of links golf courses. That's all folks!
