Just a few months after celebrating 10 years of being at the forefront of yoga in Chicago, Moksha Yoga announces the opening of their third studio, Moksha Yoga Logan Square and to celebrate, all classes are free from now until November 7.
Located a few blocks from the Western Blue Line stop at 2528 W Armitage, the new location features two studios, two showers and a retail space. There's basics/intro classes, hatha, ashtanga and vinyasa yoga as well as unique styles such as purna, anusara and acroyoga. Select classes are preceded by Labs, which give students time to ask question, troubleshoot poses and get a deeper understanding of yoga philosophies outside of the physical asana practice.
Here's a video I shot with Moksha owner Daren Friesen and studio manager Ashley Bush talking about the history of the studio for the 10-year anniversary back in August.
If you can't get to the studio during the free week, all three studios now offer $7 Karma classes twice a week. Riverwest and Lakeview will continue to offer their free weekly community class.
Moksha Yoga Logan Square is located at 25258 W Armitage.
