Touring Chicago's beautiful churches: Santa Lucia Church

Santa Lucia Church:  Touring Chicago’s beautiful churches, is the second church my husband and I are visiting in my series.  Ever since our choir joined St. Thérèse nearly three years ago this fall, we have heard about “the little church.”  Our first stop on touring Chicago’s beautiful churches was St. Andrew.

My husband and I were excited about visiting this parish for the first time and we were not disappointed.  We attended the 5 PM vigil Mass which had a small choir and an organist.

I hope my pictures do this lovely little church justice.

Santa Lucia is located at 3022 S. Wells Street here in Chicago.  Their phone number is 312-842-6115.  They are a Scalabrinian Parish and Rev. Nicholas A. Marro, C.S. is the current pastor.
