Something’s not right with my children (of course there is)… I think they’re oozing. And they’re doing it all over the kitchen floor. I’ve witnessed a flare-up in the last 2 weeks and I really don’t know how it started.
Well, yes I do know how it started, they’re nasty, gummy boys – that’s how it started. But I don’t understand why all of a sudden our kitchen floor sounds as if I’m walking on Easter basket cellophane.
It would be one thing if having a sticky floor is something I’ve been living with since day one. But, thankfully, that’s not been the case.
I started running into the kitchen right behind just to see what they’re spilling, etc. – I got NOTHIN’ . It’s like they just walk in then walk right out and voila! There’s a sticky spot on the floor. They didn’t open the fridge, the oven, the dish cabinet … but still the drops.
I just don’t get it. Annnnd I don’t like housework ergo I really DO NOT want to wash the floor -2 or 3 times a day! Sure, “have the boys do it”, you say – Ya’ OK … they’re still getting the wash your body thing down.
Wait a minute! Maybe that’s why they’re oozing…
Anyhoo I have had them mop. It didn’t go so well.
Soooo, I’m hoping for a steam mop for the holiday – they don’t snap in 2 do they? (Sheesh! It has gotten to the point that I want an appliance as a gift. Wow, I really am a mom) so if you have any suggestions … do tell.
In the meantime, I’ll continue to try to figure out why my fully-clothed children are leaking
