A couple of weeks ago, one of my editors asked a great question.
“Why don’t you do a weekly mailbag and let your readers send in questions?”
While sitting in my hot tub drinking Scotch and eating waffles, I decided that this was a fine idea and will call this weekly feature WWGD…What Would Gregg Do.
Each week, my staff will comb through the emails and I will answer them for the readers.
You can ask Gregg anything you would like to know…you pick the topic. Everything is fair game…cooking, restaurants, sports, craft beers, travel, movies, etc.
Of course, pork will always be discussed.
Send your questions to WWGD@post.com and someone from the “And They Called It Pork” staff will let you know if your question has been selected.
Also, feel free to share your Gummers stories, pictures and other humorous anecdotes.
Each week, the staff will pick a winning email and that lucky reader will win a Kenny Rogers Roasters gift card.
That is all for today folks and stay classy.
QUOTE OF THE DAY: “Donny was a good bowler, and a good man. He was one of us. He was a man who loved the outdoors… and bowling, and as a surfer he explored the beaches of Southern California, from La Jolla to Leo Carrillo and… up to… Pismo. He died, like so many young men of his generation, he died before his time. In your wisdom, Lord, you took him, as you took so many bright flowering young men at Khe Sanh, at Langdok, at Hill 364. These young men gave their lives. And so would Donny. Donny, who loved bowling. And so, Theodore Donald Karabotsos, in accordance with what we think your dying wishes might well have been, we commit your final mortal remains to the bosom of the Pacific Ocean, which you loved so well. Good night, sweet prince.”
