Killing the Frog - prologue

Analyzing humor is like dissecting a frog. Few people are interested and the frog dies of it.” – EB White

Killing the Frog – 1
The Chicago Reader has some excellent articles on comedy this week. The most impressive to me is the piece from Allison Silverman. We went through iO together and she speaks of improvisation very highly and prominently in her article. She is one of the most powerful and consistently funny people in the business today.
The other people excerpted online are Chicago veterans Harold Ramis, Bob Odenkirk, Robert Smigel, and David Sedaris.
Check out the (short) piece online here/
