Sexy Rx: The Life Reboot (and a little yoga)

For my loyal followers, it will come as no surprise that I’ve been the teensiest bit on the angsty side recently…and for the late night crowd, you’ll know that I haven’t been doing that thing known as “sleep.”

To be really vague and kinda deep, sometimes solid ground turns to a tight rope, which turns to trying to fly simply by flapping your arms.

Career stress, boyfriend baloney, family crap, my rabbit continues to plot against me, etc, etc.  In short, my sexy has taken a beating.  When this happens, all you can do is step back and reboot your entire system.

Trying to find my way

This weekend is all about getting your head straight.  If you’ve been feeling a little lost and like you’ve lost all control (I know that I have!), then this is for you.  Let’s get ready to smack life in its big frowny face.

For starters, I’m going through a full body cleanse with a juice detox this weekend.  Stress makes your skin and hair look terrible!  I need to start from zero and build it up again.  Then, I’m going to spend some time organizing my life…room, bathroom drawer, closet, etc.  Finally, I’m going to take a big healthy dose of this week’s Sexy Rx.  Hit the jump!

Your Sexy Rx:

The Spot: Free yoga at Millennium Park’s Pritzker Pavillion, Saturday at 8 a.m.

Pick-up Line That Just Might Work: If you were to go on your own Eat, Pray, Love quest, what three places would you visit?

Who You’ll See: Well, you’ll see me. I’ll be there. I am going.

Romance Factor: 5/5 – Not only are mornings probably the best part of the day, but you’ll be stretching outside with one of the best views of Chicago. You’ll feel healthy and that always equates to confident and sexy.

Couple Factor: 5/5 – Exercising together is a great way to start understanding the rhythms of your partner that much better.

Cinch The Deal: After your workout, head over to The Gage for a traditional Irish breakfast.
