I can't write. I am in tears. In Newtown, Connecticut today... where twenty kindergarten children were killed along with seven school adults in a classroom... the zen living blog I usually write, cannot. There are no words, there are only tears. Tears that come to all of our eyes in asking why... or when. When will the violence stop?
Maybe when I can find the words that will heal ... but until then... it is best expressed by the light of these words:
Our country is grieving. Each child who has been slaughtered belongs to each of us and each slain adult is a member of our family. It is impossible to explain the horror to ourselves and to our survivors. We need to hold each other’s hands and look into each other’s eyes and say, “I am sorry.” - Maya Angelou
I am sorry.
