Toyota hasn't been shy about reminding the media about what the company has in store for the 2011 Chicago Auto Show.
For example, the automaker's exhibit at McCormick Place will be, at 45,070 square feet, the largest exhibit ever built for an auto show in the United States. Or so the company claims.
Other pieces of the exhibit will include a "Prius Zone," a "Safety Zone," and a "NASCAR Zone."
There will be Chicago-themed vehicles, smart-phone interactivity, a viewing of the Daytona 500 on February 20, and guests will even have the chance to film themselves in their own Toyota commercial.
Cynics might note that Toyota is trying to build up goodwill after a year and a half or so of negative publicity due to recalls, while others might just shrug off the exhibit as the creation of a company that is try hard to market its newest vehicles and projects.
Either way, that's one big exhibit.
