Ford Recalls 2011 Explorers

Ford is recalling more than 1,600 2011 Explorers due to an issue with the second-row seats.
The second-row seats on Explorers built between July and December may not provide enough strength in a crash.

Ford will perform the repairs for customers under warranty. Notices will be mailed February 14.

The 2011 Ford Explorer is built here in Chicago.
