Bill O'Reilly getting fired inspired me to sing

My wish came true. I wrote about it here in March:

"I would love to see Fox news fire O'Reilly for his racial slurs. Of course they never will because the platform they provide him feeds their audience and all Fox cares about is ratings or they agree with him."

Fox News did fire Bill O'Reilly. It wasn't because he is a raging racist but it was because advertisers like Mercedes Benz started pulling out due to him being a raging misogynist.

Mr. O’Reilly and his employers came under intense pressure after an article by The New York Times on April 1 revealed how Fox News and its parent company, 21st Century Fox, had repeatedly stood by him even as he and the company reached settlements with five women who had complained about sexual harassment or other inappropriate behavior by him. The agreements totaled about $13 million. ~New York Times

When I heard the news I remembered an "old "love" song" so I put on my pearl necklace, took out my camera and sang my little heart out:

Bill O'Reilly's termination felt like a combination of Christmas morning, my birthday, reaching my goal weight on Weight Watchers and a really good kiss. One dragon sleighed, many more to go. Onwards and upwards.
