The Romney camp blows the dog-whistle to his (racist?) fringe. Said Romney advisor,
We are part of an Anglo-Saxon heritage, and he [Romney] feels that the special relationship is special," the Romney adviser told British newspaper The Telegraph. "The White House didn't fully appreciate the shared history we have.
Probably not the thing you want to promote if you aspire to represent a country which, for the first time in its history, this year birthed more non-Anglos than Anglos and whose demographics will be majority minority in his lifetime and in which there will be socio-cultural-economic consequences of some type!
Guess what "Mitt" . . . we know US and colonial (world) history . . . ALL of it (I for one know it really well) and it is clear your memory is selective.
*** Equal Time *** In response, Romney spokeswoman disputes that the Telegraph quote came from inside the Romney camp, but didn't say which part of the quote was inaccurate.
