Peavy dominate A's, proves he's back

If Peavy was promising-but-held back in his first three starts of the season, April 23rd in Oakland was his first turn at being ridden in a manner befitting the front line starter he was brought to Chicago to be.  On this night, he did nothing to suggest he was miscast.

Peavy utilized the full dimensions of the cavernous Oakland ballpark to twirl a three-hit shutout, the third time he accomplished the feat in his White Sox career.

I can't speak for everyone, but a quick scan of the press from the day after hints that this was the night everyone started to believe in Jake again.
