Eduardo Escobar's walk-off breaks scoreless tie in the 10th

Eduardo Escobar isn't a particularly likely offensive hero, but then again, Jose Quintana vs. Michael Fiers wasn't a particularly likely pitcher's duel.

Sometimes baseball games just creep along without anything happening, and sometimes light-hitting middle infielders just wind up in clutch hitting situations and don't fail every time.

It might not have made much sense, but given the opportunity to redo the 10-inning pitcher's duel against the Brewers that the Sox had dropped two games before, Escobar laced a drive into the left-center field gap, and got a bear hug from Adam Dunn as his reward.
