Chicago Public Schools students interview University of Chicago Crime Lab researcher about crime prevention

As part of our Podcast Club at Hancock College Prep,  students dedicated time to exploring the impact of gun violence in our city.  For this segment, three Chicago Public Schools students interviewed Anthony Berglund, a senior research manager with the UChicago Crime Lab.

In this interview, he discusses two strategies his organization and the Chicago Police Department collaborate on to address violence: Strategic Decision Support Centers and Shot Spotter.  Take a listen to this short segment:
