Tightly wound, moderately zaftig, slightly neurotic, semi-intellectual. I'll tell you my favorite movies are "Casablanca" and "The Godfather" but in reality they're "When Harry Met Sally" and "Bridget Jones' Diary." Don't judge. I believe in "live and let live" and "pass the bagels, please." I think mashed potatoes can solve most problems. I'm hoping to marry the actor Nathan Fillion someday, but he is, as yet, still blissfully unaware of this fact. I am obsessed with food, disdainful yet fascinated by celebrity culture, and I've only recently come to terms with the fact that I will never be able to pull off wearing a tank top.
I'm a writer, teacher, and world-class kvetcher. I've lived in the Chicago-area for...well, let's just say "since I was a kid." Despite the manic weather-swings, chronic pot hole/road construction stranglehold and people who pronounce our state "ELL-inois," I can't imagine living anywhere else.
