It's going to be a nice Saturday, why not spend one more day at Hollywood Beach - and give back while you're at it. It's the annual Adopt-a-Beach Cleanup tomorrow and you won't want to miss it.
Come on, head out to Hollywood Beach one more- you had fun all summer, now it's time to give back.
Head to Hollywood Beach (aka Osterman Beach) on Saturday, September 17th at 9AM.
You can easily take the Red Line north to Bryn Mawr and walk a few short blocks to the beach or you can park in the St Andrew's church at the south-east corner of Hollywood & Sheridan, or you can take the 151 or 36 north - heck you know how to go to the beach!
A few pointers though: wear close toed shoes, I know - that's gonna be difficult for some, but you are going to be cleaning up the beach - no need to look glamorous. The group sponsoring the clean-up will provide: Reporting Forms, bags, gloves, bottled Water for drinking, Snack bars, and a scale so you can weigh everything you pick up and brag to your friends what a big one you got!
