Do you know your HIV status?

One in five people living with HIV don't even know it - that's because they've never been tested.

HIV is one tricky little virus, you get infected, you may or may not "get sick" when you seroconvert and you could live for a long time before the virus really starts attacking your system - so the only way you can be sure of your status is to get tested.

Yes, getting tested for HIV can be a stress inducing event, but now with rapid tests you can learn your status the same day. Imagine getting tested in the 90's when you had to wait a full TWO WEEKS to get your status back - now that was nerve wracking!

To find a location, where ever you are, to get an HIV test, check out AIDS.GOV the site also includes educational material to help protect yourself from HIV and resources on how to live with HIV if you are positive.

Also, today at 12:30PM (1:30PM EST) you can watch via live stream the World AIDS Day event being held at the White House.

Know your status....don't just guess!

  • Today is world AIDS day.

We need HIV/AIDS education. It's very important!! CDC has granted CSU $1.9M for HIV/AIDS education.
The number of members on the largest HIV dating&support site Positivefish. com (if I spell the site correctly) has reached 550,000.
OMG! Why so many guys and girls on the site are very sexy? Why so many sexy people are infected by HIV? There is no
    doubt that we need SEX-ED
