Discover your heritage with new exhibit at Gage Gallery

Longtime photographer and LGBT activist Jerry Pritikin will be presenting an exhibit of his photography showcasing San Francisco in the 70's at a new exhibit at the Gage Gallery at Roosevelt University, just in time for Pride Month.

Opening on June 3rd with a reception from 5-8PM, 40 of Jerry's photographs showcasing San Francisco and the birth of the gay movement.

Jerry was there when many of the pivotal moments in our history occurred, he was friends with Harvey Milk and was able to capture many images of him that are legendary today.  Jerry roamed San Francisco and the west coast with his Kodak instamatic camera and created a photographic history of the events that were unfolding in front of him.

San Francisco in the 1970's: Photographs by Jerry Pritikin will be at the Gage Gallery from June 3 through August 13th with an opening reception held on June 3 from 5-8PM.
