Leathermen from across the globe will descend on Chicago for the 32nd Mr. International Leather.
This year the festivities have been thankfully moved back to the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The Hyatt is a much better facility to hold IML and I'm excited to see it return to the venue.
But this year will be different, at least in the market, especially since Chuck Renslow - owner of the IML Brand - officially "outlawed" the sale of bareback porn. His message to vendors last year in part said: they would "no longer allow participation in the IMLLeather Market by any entity which promotes barebacking or distributes/sells any merchandise tending to promote or advocate barebacking." You can read the whole letter here. The Leather Market is just a small part of the overall IML experience that it will see what effect it has on the rest of the weekend. I'm sure you'll find plenty to do!

IML officially starts on Thursday with a pre-party and roast for last years winner, Jeffrey Payne at the Leather Archives & Museum in Rogers Park and runs all through the weekend ending with the notorious Black & Blue Ball at Excalibur Nightclub.
This years contest to find the new Mr. International Leather will also return to the Congress Theater on Saturday night!
