The folks from Blacksocks.com are at it again. First they changed the landscape by offering a one-of-a-kind subscription service for dress socks, then they offered underwear (which I was lucky enough to give away to one lucky winner) and now they doing it with tank tops.
Recently they announced that you can get the Colette, a fine ribbed tank made of 100% pima cotton, delivered to you in trial packs of 2, packs of 8 or enough for a full year. And one lucky winner of What's A Boy To Do will get their own Colette tank top to take home and enjoy.
To enter the contest just leave a comment on this entry. Each comment counts as an entry in the contest - and you can enter as many times as you like - there's no limit. The contest will run through Friday, April 30th at 11:59:59. All entries received prior to that date will be entered and one lucky winner will receive a Colette Tank from Blacksocks.
I got a chance to try one out, click through for my review.
I've had the chance to give the Colette a test run for the past few weeks and I've enjoyed wearing it. I'm not typically an undershirt kinda guy, I know I should be, but I'm just not, so it took some effort for me to wear the tank. It was comfortable to wear, it's cut nicely in the arms so that it's not too big nor too tight.
The pima ribbed cotton has a very interesting texture, it's sort of slick but not overly slick, it was soft and flowing and didn't bunch up when I tucked it in. The Colette also washed up nicely, it's been washed a few times now and it has kept its shape well and hasn't deformed at all. I'm sure it will wear well. Also the shirts are manufactured to conform with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 that means they're 100% skin-friendly and allergy tested (who knew there was a standard?)
You can try out the Colette for yourself, they come in a trial 2-pack ($47), 1 delivery of 8 tanks ($187) or 3 deliveries of 2-pack ($139).
