It's that magical time of year...no not when we turn the clocks ahead...it's magical because it's time for the Backstage Tours at the Lyric Opera.
Last year I went with two of my friends and we had the best time ever. Tickets are $35 each and you get a walking tour from top to bottom of the Opera House. From the orchestra pit all the way to the attic stuffed with props from hundreds of shows to the dressing rooms and the rehersal spaces.
Tours start every half-hour from 11:30 to 2:30 and reservations are required. You've got this Sunday, March 14th and next Sunday, March 21st. Head over to the site to check it out and make your reservations ASAP, they tend to sell out and the earlier times sell out quickly.
On our way out we even got a commemorative poster to mark the occasion.
