Is that a banana in your pocket may soon be a valid question thanks to some new underwear from AussieBum.
AussieBum, the Australian underwear company has just announced a new line of manties with the moniker BANANA incredibly made from the bark of a banana tree.
According to AussieBum its made from 27% Banana Fibre, 64% Cotton and 9% Lycra.
Each pair will run you roughly $27 if you purchase directly from the manufacturers website - thankfully there's free shipping!
I did get a giggle out of the washing instructions though: Gentle machine wash in cold water. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach or wring. Line dry in shade. Cool Iron. Do not iron waistband. So now that you've got a banana in your pocket you've got to treat it with kid gloves - now where's the fun in that?
