Billy Elliot the Musical is coming to Chicago for an extended run at the Ford Center Oriental Theater opening March 18th.

I am proud to partner with Broadway In Chicago to promote Billy Elliot with a new web series created by BIC to introduce you to the show and get you hyped up for all the excitement.

The show originally opened in West end at the Victoria Palace Theater in 2005 and has been playing steadily since then, it opened on Broadway at the Imperial Theater in 2008 and has now spawned the Chicago Production that is set for an open run at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theater.

Billy Elliot has won close to 40 Awards and was nominated for 15 Tony Awards which put it in place to tie with The Producers (another great show that got it's start in Chicago) for the most nominations ever recieved by a single show and it won 10 of those!

This first webisode in the series introduces you to some of the young men playing Billy Elliot, director Stephen Daldry and Elton John who wrote the music for the show.

I've been chomping at the bit to see this show ever since it was announced last year and it's been even more difficult since I got my Broadway In Chicago Season Tickets a few months back.

Tickets are available now from $30 to $100 and can be purchased online!

Come back often and check for updates - as soon as Broadway in Chicago releases a new webisode I'll post it here to share with you!
