No Pants Subway Ride - Chicago Edition [PHOTOS]

More than 100 people took off their pants and rode the CTA pantsless on one of the coldest days of the year.

For the 9th year, Improv Everywhere has organized No Pants Subway ride, where participants take off their pants and ride the CTA - all in the name of humor and flash mobs!  The fun started as everyone met at Berger Park in the Edgewater neighborhood to get their mission instructions, found their friends and made new ones.

After receiving instructions and overwhelming the Granville platform of the Red Line the seriousness of the event started to come over the crowd.  Everyone boarded the train and then within two stops, pants started coming off and the game was on.  The plan was for groups of people to get off at each stop and then get on the following train - that way they could surprise the people on the platform as well as overwhelm the people already on the train.

We rode the train to Roosevelt where everyone made a mad exodus from the train and started singing, dancing and overtaking the platform in celebration of riding the train with no pants.

Check out these great pictures from the day.
