'NO MORE FUCKING ABBA' is one of my favorite lines from The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert - but I disagree because you can never have too much ABBA. I mean who doesn't love ABBA?
If you feel that your life has been empty since the group broke up in the 80's never fee! Because ABBAWorld is making it's world debut in London today. A new interactive "experience" designed to take you on a journey filled with everything ABBA imaginable.
It's being described as an event that is more like going to 'Mamma Mia!' than going to a museum exhibition, here they want people to dance, sing and join in the fun - not stand back and just take in the beauty with pursed lips and quiet nods of heads.
An audioguide, narrated by one of the stars of the film "Mamma Mia!" will lead ticket holders through a 25 room, 30,000 square foot exhibit space that contains costumes, a helicopter, music, photographs and interactive stations that will let you take an ABBA quiz or even dance and sing alongside an animated ABBA via "holographic video technology.'
It's not all about fun though, there is a gift shop where you can buy 'event t-shirts,' accessories, headwear and even babywear - all emblazoned with ABBA!
Tickets are selling for around $35....not including the plane ticket to London!
So who wants to go and get filled up on ABBA?
