Meredith Baxter Birney has come out of the closet as a 'late-in-life-lesbian' this morning on the Today Show.
Probably best known as the mom from the 80's tv-sitcom Family Ties, Meredith has been hiding a secret, she says, for the past seven years.
Everything started to come to the surface last month when the National Enquirer reported that MBB was spotted on a lesbian-themed cruise with a female partner - even though she knew that she would probably be outed for it.
Congrats to MBB for finally coming out of the closet, even though she was somewhat pushed by the National Enquirer and Perez Hilton - who posted photos to his website yesterday.
