  • No love for Eazy-E?

  • In reply to sixtimes:

Hey Sixtimes - thanks for stopping by.

Eazy-E was on my big list, but when I had to narrow it down, I didn't include him. Thank you so much for mentioning him because that's the important thing that we can do: Remember those that we've lost!

I wish that the list of people who have died from AIDS was a short one, but unfortunately it is not.

I wish that I didn't have to make a list like this at all!

  • In reply to MichaelLehet:

Yeah, fair enough - I just didn't realize such a list would need to be narrowed down. Ah, well.

  • In reply to MichaelLehet:

I agree with Sixtimes. This list is poorly narrowed down, especially since AIDS has hit the African-American community very hard. It would've been helpful to at least make an exception to list Eazy-E. There really is no excuse.

  • In reply to MichaelLehet:

Keith Haring turned the art world on its head, caption writer.

Thank you for recognizing World AIDS Day. I do not understand though why in your commentary section on some of the celebrities you bothered to mention that the person did not admit to their homosexuality during their lives. Is this a list about celebrities who have died of AIDS or a list of who died and how they contracted HIV? It's a human disease, period.

  • In reply to MichaelLehet:

I missed Amanda Blake, the actress who became famous on "Gunsmoke". She was one of the earliest female victims, around the time that Ryan White died.

  • In reply to MichaelLehet:

Also, don't forget the singer Sylvester who sung "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)". And also, the singer Jermaine Stewart who sung "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off".

  • In reply to MichaelLehet:

Television journalist and Chicago based co-anchor, Max Robinson of ABC's "World News Tonight" from 1978-1983.

  • In 2006 I found out I had a full blown case of nasty aides. I lost 15 lbs, had some skin sores, got tested, a few days later I was told I had aides. My Doctor told me DON'T WORRY you are not going to die and you will live a long life. WELL my Doc was right. I got on a one pill a day treatment and within 3 months my virus load was zero, I put weight back on and then some. I don't look sick and actually am in the best health ever!

My first recollection of Aides was Rock Hudson. His desperate attempt to fly to France for experimental treatment, his kiss with Linda Evans, his utter isolation and fear of dying with no hope for recovery. I was totally unsympathetic then. I said it would never happen to me, NEVER. The more sexual contacts I had overtime let my guard down. It would never happen to me. Then the denial, because deep down inside I had a feeling I was poz.

Peeps, its not a matter of IF but when if you play around. I came a long way from that day. My tribute is to all those before that have died without hope from Aides. My prayer goes out to you and I ask you to forgive me for my insensitivity. This goes for all those that suffer with no hope for recovery.

We have come a long way but still have a way to go to fight Aides. One would be to demand the companies release the cure and we lobby our representatives to put pressure on them. But we all know that the politicians are in the back pocket of these companies. Yeah over time as the cost to treat keeps declining maybe they will release the cure.

All I can say is God bless Obama for standing up for health care for all and I a former Republican will vote for him again.

Stand up Peeps, honor those that came before us and gave their lives to this awful terrible disease!

  • The cause of all sexual immorality is LILLITH the first wife of Adam. Her evil spirit has transcended time, you will see her transformed over the centuries from ancient time and her her statue stands in New York Harbor today.

Search and you will find. Lillith is Satan, look it up and follow the trail on youtube...
