National Equality Idol contest extends deadline

The group organizing the National Equality March on Washington has extended the voting deadline to October 1st to gather more support for their National Equality Idol contest.

Jerry Pritikin, is a Chicago native, who has made it into the final 5 contestants who are vying for an opportunity to address the marchers at the National Equality March.  Jerry has been a lifelong photographer and activist who was in San Francisco during the time that Harvey Milk was elected as the first openly gay person in the United States.
