The National Touring cast of Spring Awakening, part of Broadway in Chicago, gave an intimate concert at the Apple store on Michigan Avenue Tuesday evening. Almost the entire cast was present and they performed three songs from the hit Broadway musical: "Mama who bore me," "The Bitch," and "Touch Me"
Spring Awakening is playing at the Oriental Theater on Randolph through Sunday, August 16th. Tickets are $25-$95 and can be purchased online.
Check back all day as I'll be posting additional performances later.

Thanks for posting this! I caught SA when it stopped in town last week. While I didn't *love* it, I appreciate its unique approach to telling a classic German play from the late 1800s.
I didn't *love it* either, but you're correct it does offer a unique approach to telling a story that's 120 years old.
